VI. Google Adsense

Adsense is an online ad serving program which runs by Google. Website owners can enroll in this program to enable text, image and, more recently, video advertisements on their sites. These ads are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a per-click or per-thousand-impressions basis.

To participate in the program, you need to have an account with Google AdSense first. By In the process, you will be asked to provide your personal details, address, payment details, etc. which will take a few minutes. Then you should have your account setup immediately. You should now be able to access your account by using your login name and you password you have chosen during the application.

In your account's control panel, there are 3 main tabs on the top of the page. One is the reporters which shows results of showing your ads and revenue you have earned from clicking.

The second tab contains your details from your beginning registration which You always need to keep this area up to date to prevent your payment be sent to the wrong address.

The Last but most important is AdSense setting up tab. The tab will tell you how to create AdSense code for your website. If you follow their instruction step by step, eventually you will get the final code. Then all you need to do is to copy that code to the body tag of your webpage.

AdSense use JAVA Language technology to create the code for you. You must not make any changes to the code because if Google found their code had been modified, you would not be paid from then. And please remember not to click the ads by yourself or use the software to cheat because Google is smarter than you think. Google has a very secure system to protect their clients from such things. You can be rejected from the Adsense account and could not be back to involve in any of their programmes again.

After placing the code on your website and preview it on the browser, the Ads should apparently appear on the website. Now you may start to promote your website in as many places as you can.

If someone clicks on the ad, your commission from Google will automatically be paid to your AdSense account and at the end of the month, you will be simply posted a check from AdSense.

In some people, they make just only one website. Like one of my friend, it is a forum which full of traffic from around the world all the time. He makes over $5,000 a month with his website but that need a lot of patience at the beginning to promote. If you think you are not that good to promote, you may need to start from making more websites to earn more money. I am one of those who are quite lazy to promote websites so I chose to make as much websites as I can. I earned from each of them only around $5 – 10 per month but with the 25 websites and nearly 40 blogs I have, it is enough to help me paying my bill every month.
